Ahmad Deen and the Jinn at Shaolin – Book Review

I read a book last week and it’s called Ahmad Deen and the jinn at shaolin. This book is about a boy named Ahmad Deen, who won an essay contest. The prize was a trip to china and they had partners on the trip. His partner was Brian Stickman . The teacher said that if somebody didn’t follow the rules they would be staying in there hotel room for the rest of the trip doing worksheets and Ahmad left the group for too long because he had to use the restroom and on the way back a man told him to solve a riddle and go to the shaolin temple. The man also told him to find someone named Shang Dao and tell him that Hung See Quan sent you. His group teacher turned out to be a drug dealer and somebody abducted his roommate. He also had to fight a jinn and their group teacher went to jail. My favorite parts of the story were when Ahmad had to fight a jinn and when he discovered that his group teacher was a drug dealer. I also liked the part when he got to the shaolin temple and when Ahmad got back to the hotel. A few parts I didn’t like were when Ahmad got his partner and when Ahmad had to do worksheets. Another thing I didn’t like was when they couldn’t find Brian and when Brian was found he would still be able to go on the trip. I would recommend this book to you if you like to read stories with action and suspense.
